Spring Break brought a fun trip to Tamarindo, Costa Rica. I spent a few days heading north to the Rain Forest which brought as much fun and entertainment as surfing in one of the best spots on earth. Zip lining and mud baths where definitely the highlight and I thank Roy at http://www.costaricaforeveryone.com/ for the personal attention and private tour. One beach day was spent on the Marlin Del Ray Catamaran with big props to Ken, Alex Jr. and Blacky for making it the best sailing I've experienced. The Casada's where out of this world at FT's and so was the mahi mahi taco's with jalapeno salsa at Taco Stop on the way to Langosta.. and I can't forget the Tres Leche. Oh my, that was heaven. The best part of the trip was being disconnected from all technology. I can't remember the last time my life was that simple... it was probably about 10 years ago. Morning runs were amazing and I'm grateful to the locals that lit up when I would run past them with a "Hola"... I love the people there; humble, grateful, simple.
