TIMEX MULTISPORT TEAM 2010

Timex Camp this year was at the Timex Performance Center. In June, Timex and the New York Giants created a 15 year partnership. I have to admit, I was a little curious as to how a bunch of skinny triathletes would be welcomed at the home of the New York Giants as the TPC was to just be a temporary place for our team for the duration of the camp. After all the introductions were made, a very warm welcome came from the Giants as they concluded with, "this is your home."

I had the opportunity with my other mates, to have my VO2Max done. I was able to get some good information regardless of the lack of speed work in the last 8 months. It was great to run on the Woodward treadmills (fantastic! Best in the industry!) and enjoy the other amenities at the TPC.

This year with us spending all of our time at the TPC, it really created the perfect opportunity for Team bonding and relationship building! I have developed solid relationships with each of the 48 members at the camp. We have a solid number of international athletes which really has added to the presence of Team Timex world wide. Kirill (Estonia), Jerzy (Netherlands), Victor (Russia), Tamara(Ukraine), Luis(Mexico), Anu(India), Toby(London; pictured above), Stu & Ali (Austrailia) and many mates from Canada =)

Timex put on a Top Class Camp and the details were incredible. I am excited to move into 2010 with my mates and share the passion of the sport and the passion of the products with others.
